SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are currently seeking a 309A Licensed Journeyman Electrician with experience working in commercial settings and managing several jobs. You will be responsible for teaching and working alongside an Electrical Apprentice. Most of our work is in the Greater Toronto Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete office renovations, including installing panels, new lighting and power, etc.
- Complete emergency service calls, such as repairs to equipment that have lost power.
- Replace wall packs and pole lighting using a bucket truck.
- Upgrade service equipment (i.e., panels, transformers, secondary feeders from hydro, etc.).
- Install and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, which includes new panels, devices, pipe and wiring, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints, line diagrams, and more to successfully complete a job.
- Perform other duties, as required.

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Current 309A Journeyman Electrician License is required.
- 1-year experience as a Journeyman Electrician is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and alongside a team.
- An understanding of blueprints, line diagrams, etc.
- Possess troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage a small team.
- Experience running a service truck.
- Knowledge and experience working with fire alarms is an asset, but is not required.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Willingness to work overtime, be on call for emergencies, late nights and weekends when needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
