We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Technician / Assistant to support daily activities related to quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of regulatory files and technical documentation
- Support the review of labels, packaging, product sheets, and marketing materials
- Help manage quality documentation, including specifications, COAs, SDS, stability reports, technical data sheets, and related documents
- Support cosmetic notifications and regulatory submissions when required
- Assist with compliance follow-ups related to Health Canada, FDA, COSMOS, ECOCERT, and other applicable standards
- Help maintain product files, including PIFs and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Regulatory teams
- Participate in internal audits, compliance follow-ups, and quality programs
- Provide administrative support for certifications, supplier documentation, and production records
- Support product launches and international registrations when needed
Qualifications
- Education in quality assurance, chemistry, biochemistry, cosmetic science, pharmaceutical sciences, regulatory affairs, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, natural health products, personal care, or a manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements related to cosmetics and personal care products
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in French with functional English, or bilingual French and English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and document management tools
Assets
- Experience in cosmetics, skincare, natural health products, or organic-certified products
- Knowledge of GMP standards
- Familiarity with COSMOS, ECOCERT, or organic certifications
- Experience working with technical documents such as COAs, SDS, specifications, and technical data sheets
- Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
