About Us:
Steamoji is a hands-on maker academy for ages 5–14. We teach fabrication, engineering, physical computing, and digital arts through real builds. Our team is supportive, fun, and inclusive — we work together, we learn together, and we celebrate student wins. Learn more at steamoji.com.
The Role:
Lead studio sessions, support student projects, explain STEM concepts in kid-friendly ways, manage groups up to 10, assist with maker tools, and communicate with parents. There are opportunities to take the lead on programs, build instructional confidence, and grow teaching/tech skills over time.

What You Bring:
- Experience working with kids (5–14)
- Strong communication & group management skills
- Energetic, patient, and positive teaching style
- Reliable car for GTA satellite programs
- Willingness to learn 3D printers, coding, robotics, etc. (training will be provided as well).
Inclusive Environment + Language Assets:
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish are strong assets (not required).
Schedule:
Must be consistently available Tue–Fri, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Education/Background:
Degree/Diploma (or in progress) in Education, ECE, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or related fields. Training provided for STEM tools.
