Chinese TeacherResponsibilities
- Teach Chinese language classes for students aged 4–12 in an engaging, interactive, and supportive learning environment.
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Prepare lesson plans and design creative, age-appropriate learning activities that align with the school's curriculum and teaching philosophy.
- Assess students' learning progress and provide timely feedback to parents.
- Foster a positive classroom environment and encourage students' confidence and interest in learning Chinese.
- Collaborate with the teaching team on curriculum planning, lesson development, and school events.
- Maintain classroom organization and complete other teaching-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required.
- Proven experience teaching Chinese to children, with strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage young learners.
- Passionate about education, patient, responsible, and enthusiastic.
- Able to independently plan lessons and create interactive, student-centered learning experiences.
- Experience teaching in Canada, a teaching certificate, or an education-related background is considered an asset.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
