Overview:
We are looking for an passionate over night Baker for our baking team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of sourdough baking techniques, a creative passion is very much welcomed by the team.
HOURS: 10pm-7am
As a Baker, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of baked goods, maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, and meeting production targets. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Handling sourdough and baguettes on a daily basis.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of baking equipment.
- Maintenance and care of all bakery equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of bread baking techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Creative and innovative mindset for developing new recipes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift heavy bags of flour and other baking supplies.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for baking and a positive attitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
Experience:
- Bread Baking : 1 year (preferred)
