Lead Hand & Driver – Landscape Construction
Toronto, ON – Near O’Connor Dr & Bermondsey Rd
$28–$36/hour | Full-time, Seasonal | 45–55 hours/week
Our client is a mid-town Toronto design/build firm specializing in high-end residential landscape installations, with over 38 years of experience in the industry.
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Hand & Driver to provide hands-on leadership on landscape construction projects. The role includes crew coordination and training, site safety, landscape construction, equipment operation, and driving a 5-ton or larger truck with trailer.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of landscape construction experience
- Valid G-Class Driver’s Licence
- Experience operating excavators, skid steers and articulated loaders
- Experience driving trucks with trailers
- Ability to read drawings and job packages
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding work
What’s Offered
- $28–$36/hour, based on experience
- Overtime at 1.5x after 88 hours per two weeks
