Parkit360 is seeking a Shop Floor Supervisor to join our team on-site in Carleton Place.

This is a hands-on frontline leadership role focused on daily execution, communication, coordination, and team support. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will help ensure employees have the direction, resources, and support needed to meet daily production goals safely and efficiently.
About the Role
The Shop Floor Supervisor serves as the day-to-day leadership presence on the production floor.
You will help coordinate work, communicate priorities, monitor workflow, support employees, and maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible, approachable, and actively involved in the day-to-day operation of a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the daily activities of production employees
- Assign work and communicate production priorities established by the Operations Manager
- Monitor workflow throughout the day and respond to issues affecting productivity, quality, or efficiency
- Help identify bottlenecks and escalate larger operational concerns as needed
- Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments
- Manage parts fulfillment activities
- Provide day-to-day coaching, guidance, and reinforcement of workplace expectations
- Support accountability through regular follow-up and clear communication
- Maintain notes regarding recurring operational issues and coaching conversations
- Reinforce safe work practices, quality standards, and housekeeping expectations
- Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and recurring safety concerns
- Support onboarding and training of production employees
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment
- Previous experience as a Lead Hand, Team Lead, Shift Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Practical problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Ability to provide direction, coaching, and support in a respectful and professional manner
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Forklift certification is considered an asset
- Experience with ERP, inventory, shipping, receiving, or production management systems is considered an asset
