About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on Executive Property Superintendent to oversee the ongoing maintenance, operations, and improvement of a diverse portfolio of residential, recreational, agricultural properties.
This is a field-based, highly autonomous role for someone who takes ownership, solves problems independently, and maintains properties to a high standard year-round.
You will be responsible for ensuring all properties are maintained, functional, and continuously improved through hands-on work, coordination of contractors, and practical project execution.
A company truck will be provided for work-related use.
Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of multiple properties (residential, rural, and recreational)
- Perform and coordinate general repairs and preventative maintenance
- Manage mechanical systems and coordinate service providers
- Handle seasonal property openings and closures (cottages, outdoor assets, etc.)
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and storm damage
Project Coordination
- Coordinate renovations, repairs, and property improvement projects
- Manage contractors, trades, and service providers
- Support planning and execution of capital improvement projects
Land & Outdoor Management
- Maintain roads, driveways, trails, and outdoor infrastructure
- Support seasonal land use activities (clearing, planting, cleanup, etc.)
- Oversee recreational property areas including hunting and outdoor structures
- Assist with forestry, firewood, and general land stewardship tasks
Equipment & Assets
- Oversee maintenance of vehicles, boats, and equipment
- Ensure proper care, storage, and readiness of tools and machinery
- Coordinate servicing and repairs as required
General Support Duties
- Support day-to-day operational needs across all properties
- Coordinate deliveries, vendor access, and material procurement
- Assist with miscellaneous operational and logistical tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience in property maintenance, construction, landscaping, or facility management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites and priorities
- Comfortable operating in rural, outdoor, and all-weather environments
- Strong practical knowledge of tools, repairs, and general maintenance
- Experience coordinating contractors or trades is an asset
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license required
Work Environment
This role is physically active and field-based across multiple properties. No two days are the same, and priorities may shift seasonally or operationally.
A company truck will be provided for work use.
Some travel between sites is required.
Compensation & Benefits
