Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing restaurant flow, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or hotel settings is highly valued, along with familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and POS systems such as Silverware POS.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow
- Lead and motivate team members, including interviewing and training new staff
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to maintain high quality standards
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using Silverware POS or similar systems
- Enforce food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Assist in restaurant management tasks such as inventory control, scheduling, and compliance with health regulations
- Support hospitality initiatives to enhance guest experience, including serving when necessary
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely delivery of meals
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Silverware POS or similar platforms
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices including inventory control and staff scheduling
- Effective communication skills for team management and guest interaction
- Background in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, along with barista or bar management experience
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or food industry establishments

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
