Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring high standards of hygiene and sanitation are met consistently. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in cleaning and hospitality.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
- Assist with additional duties as assigned to support overall facility cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is advantageous; industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Prior hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
