Overview
We are seeking friendly and reliable team member to join our sandwich shop. This role combines both FOH customer service and BOH prep. Hours would be 15-25 hours per week (potentially more). Must be able to work mainly evenings/closing shifts.
Shop hours: 10:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Saturday (we may open Sundays in the future)
Example shifts may include but are not limited to:
Closing shifts
2-8:30pm
3-8:30pm
4-8:30pm
5-8:30pm
Mid-day shifts
11am-3pm
Duties
- Give warm, friendly service to our customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow established procedures and food safety guidelines
- Able to prep food and restock food efficiently (knife skills, saucing, lifting etc.)
- Able to complete cleaning checklists thoroughly, efficiently (wash dishes, sweep etc.)
- Be able to carry up to 20lb up/down the stairs safely (we have a basement kitchen)
Skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail
- Adaptable to changing tasks/priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in food service is an asset
- Warm demeanor and able to give great customer service during busy periods
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, able to utilize constructive feedback to improve

Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour
