We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Multilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or merchandising are highly valued. The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales through effective upselling and product knowledge, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demos and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling and cross-selling products
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed efficiently during shifts
- Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Support team members in achieving store sales goals through collaborative efforts
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in technology or consumer electronics
- Bilingual skills (English plus additional languages) are a significant advantage
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for handling transactions
- Experience with product demos, merchandising, and upselling techniques
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and time management capabilities
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and patience in diverse situations
