We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components according to specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
- Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and LBW welding machines.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on metal products and equipment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience in a shop environment.
- Experience welding steel materials; aluminum and stainless steel experience considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG and LBW welding experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English and use imperial measuring system.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Valid CWB certification is an asset but not required.
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
