Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter Subcontractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and assemble various structures and fixtures. This role involves working on commercial projects, ensuring that all work meets our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install commercial millwork and wall panel systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including masons and painters, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and completing installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed for various projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction drawings.
- Strong skills in assembling furniture, cabinetry, and other wood structures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
