RAM, Rope Access Maintenance Inc., is a premium Rope Access provider located within Toronto, Ontario. RAM provides Construction, Maintenance and Inspection services throughout Canada.

We are currently seeking IRATA Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Rope Access Technicians for a 7–8 week fixed-term project in the Toronto area.
The project will operate primarily on night shift, with the possibility of transitioning to days during the later portions of the project.
Project Schedule
- Fixed-term project: approximately 7–8 weeks
- Primarily night shift
- Monday through Friday
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
- Approximately 40–50 hours per week
- Potential transition to day shift during later stages of the project
- Candidates must be available for the duration of the project and reasonably flexible with the project schedule

Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all Company Policies, Procedures and Instructions, including applicable health and safety requirements.
- Perform construction, maintenance, installation and repair activities by means of rope access.
- Prepare work areas, equipment, materials and access systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, rope access equipment, fall protection equipment and rigging equipment as required.
- Support industrial and commercial maintenance, repairs, installations and general construction activities.
- Facilitate safe work for repair and installation scopes including coatings, concrete, mechanical, electrical and related work.
- Maintain and inspect personal rope access equipment and PPE.
- Maintain awareness of dropped-object hazards, weather conditions, public exposure and site-specific controls.
- Follow direction from the IRATA Level 3 Supervisor, Project Coordinator and site supervision.
- Assist with rescue planning, rigging, equipment management and site organization as required.
- Work effectively as part of a crew to ensure scopes are understood and executed safely and to a high standard.
- Travel to project locations as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Current IRATA Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 certification
- Rope Access Experience: 1–3+ years preferred
- Construction Experience: 1–3+ years preferred

- WHMIS
- Worker Awareness
- Additional supervisory training required where applicable to the worker’s role
- Canadian residency with a Social Insurance Number OR a current valid work permit
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Must be available for the full 7–8 week project duration
- Must be available for night shifts
- Must have flexibility to transition to day shift if required later in the project
Work Conditions And Physical Capabilities
Be capable of functioning in climatic extremes; working under pressure; handling heavy loads; physically demanding work; attention to detail; good hand-eye coordination; combination of sitting, standing and walking; bending, crouching and kneeling; and working safely at height for extended periods.
Desirable Trade Skills
- Welding, Steel Erection and Metal Work Experience / Tickets
- Scaffolding Experience and Aerial Lift Platform Tickets
- Inspection Qualifications
- Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing or Painting Experience
- Concrete Repair / Remediation Experience
- Previous Rescue Experience
- Hoisting and Rigging Experience & Tickets
- Experience working on commercial, industrial or complex structural projects
