Duties and Responsibilities
-Hire & Train or arrange for training of staff
- Follow up and coach staff
-Order Merchandise
-Establish work schedules
-Sell merchandise (by ensuring products are available to customers)
-Rotation of products for quality and freshness
-Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
-Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
-Clean & Sanitize the department
- Ensure budgets set by the company are met; sales, labour, shrink, audits etc
-Other duties may apply
Educational Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Other Requirements
- 6 months management/leadership experience in the retail industry.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 2 (two) nights including weekends and statutory holidays.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Systems skills (Email, SAP, and P.C. applications) are an asset but not necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
