Position
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will complete work in a safe and appropriate manner. You will be responsible for safely executing various millwrighting or Welding duties, depending on the skills you bring to the team. You will be required to follow all policies and procedures and legislation required to operate the equipment safety and complete your assigned tasks daily.
The work schedule will be based on minimum forty-five hours a week;
four 10-hour days, 4 days a week and a 5-hour day on Fridays,
some end of week or weekend work may be optional/required.
This position is in Lloydminster locals highly encouraged to apply!

Job Duties
- Ability to work with material handling systems including bucket elevators, dust collection systems, grain cleaning equipment, conveyors, augers, fans, motors vacuums, pumps, compressors etc.
- Inspection, installation, adjustment and maintenance of mechanical machines and equipment on site.
- Machine troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and preventative maintenance.
- Dismantling, repairing, and assembling equipment as required and in-line with manufacturers specifications and recommended standards.
- Thorough knowledge and use of a micrometer, dial indicators, and other tools necessary to achieve the settings and tolerances required.
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
- Inspect equipment on a regular basis, pre and post operating.
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or wear and/or damage of equipment to supervisor in order to facilitate corrective action and meet federal regulations.
- Safely work from a ladder, platform, staging scaffold or mobile basket.
- Ability to weld an asset.
- Working at heights will be required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge in general maintenance & millwrighting and/or welding.
- Journeyman Red Seal Millwright or Welding Ticket preferred; All apprentices or Labourers will be considered. CWB considered an asset.
- Experience in Industrial facilities with Grain Material Handling Systems an asset.
- Knowledge of conveyors, belt bucket elevators, and grain cleaning equipment an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings and initiate drawing changes.
- Class 5 Driver’s License, and own transportation to site required.
- Effective, self-managing, good problem-solving skills, planning, organizing, and priority setting skills combined with a strong work ethic.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be open and flexible to change, take initiative.
- First Aid / Safety Tickets an asset.
