Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Metal Polisher / Metal Finisher to join our growing fabrication team in North York, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for polishing, buffing, grinding, and finishing stainless steel and other metal components to achieve high-quality cosmetic finishes for custom fabrication projects.
Responsibilities
- Polish, buff, grind, and finish stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel products.
- Remove weld discoloration, scratches, burrs, and other surface imperfections.
- Produce brushed, satin, mirror, and other specified finishes.
- Operate hand grinders, belt sanders, polishing wheels, buffers, and other finishing equipment.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders and fabrication drawings.
- Maintain polishing equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Work closely with welders and fabricators to ensure quality workmanship.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of metal polishing experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Experience polishing stainless steel is required.
- Skilled in using grinders, buffers, belt sanders, and polishing equipment.
- Ability to achieve brushed, #4, satin, and mirror finishes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

- Monday to Friday
- Day Shift
- Overtime available as required
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
- Overtime available.
- Full-time, permanent position.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Experience:
- Metal Polishing: 2 years (preferred)
