Forecast Coffee is hiring for our Whistler Village location.
We are looking for wonderful staff to join our team. Serving food, coffee, and beer with an extended menu, we are looking for a food-focussed barista to join our team. This role would be ideal for a candidate with previous cooking experience who wants to expand to working FOH roles.

The Role:
-Creating a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for staff and customers
- Open and close the cafe following all open/close procedures
- Ensure cafe is secure before leaving at end of day
- Cash handling- ensure accurate till counts (open & close) and change float.
- Preparing and serving coffee, food and drinks, clearing tables, washing dishes – getting dirty and leading by example by maintaining a high standard of food and beverage preparation.
- include barista, counter-service, food preparation, beer and liquor service
This role will primarily be kitchen focussed to start, with the opportunity to cross train in coffee.
The ideal candidate:
-Enjoys interacting with customers
- loves great coffee and has previous barista experience (preferred)
-Has previous kitchen experience
- has flexible availability - mornings & afternoons
- enjoys working in a fast-paced environment & getting to know your customers
- is a team player and wants to build connections within our community
- Serving It Right required, Food Safe an asset
- includes staff meal for full shifts, staff discount at Forecast Coffee locations
Starting wage $18.30/hr, plus tips paid out weekly
