Associate Lawyer

Our well established and highly regarded law firm located in the north end of Toronto is hiring. They are looking to add a Mortgage Enforcement Lawyer to their growing team.
In this role you will work with friendly and supportive people with an exceptional roster of lender clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Power of sale proceedings and foreclosure actions
- Commercial and residential mortgage enforcement
- Title disputes and priority issues
- Recovery strategies, including judgment enforcement
- Real estate litigation related to secured lending
- Advising lenders and mortgage servicers on risk, strategy, and compliance
Requirements:
- 4+ years of litigation or a real estate law background, with strong exposure to secured lending or enforcement matters.
- Experience navigating the Courts of Justice Act, Land Titles Act, and Rules of Civil Procedure
- Strong drafting skills, good judgment, and a solutions-first mindset
- The ability to manage files independently while collaborating with a supportive team
