Print Floor Assistant — Vinyl Labs Corp Surrey, BC | Temporary / Part-Time | No Experience Required Monday – Friday | 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
About Us Vinyl Labs is one of Canada's fastest-growing print and fleet graphics management companies. We keep a fleet of 7–8 large-format printers running around the clock and take pride in delivering client-ready work. The Role Keep our large-format printers running by loading and unloading the right substrate at the right time. No design experience needed — just attention to detail and hustle.
This is a temporary, full-time position. When printer tasks are fully caught up, you may assist the prep team with basic tasks.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload substrate across 7–8 large-format printers throughout the day
- Confirm the correct material is matched to each print job before loading
- Label rolls clearly and accurately after unloading
- Stay ahead of the queue to minimize machine downtime
- Monitor running machines and report early signs of banding, head strikes, or print quality issues to the print team
- Receive incoming substrate and material shipments
- Keep rolls organized, properly stored, and easy to locate
- Maintain a clean, tidy print floor at all times
- Track material levels and flag low stock to the Print Lead
- When fully caught up, assist the prep team with basic weeding, masking, and prepping tasks — printer responsibilities always come first

- Physically comfortable handling large rolls of vinyl and substrate
- Able to follow instructions precisely and work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Proactive — you stay ahead of the queue, not behind it
- No prior experience required — we'll train you
