Overview
Radium North Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role involves working on a range of residential and commercial construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and maintenance work in a fast-paced and safety-driven environment.

Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials
- Construct and install building frameworks including walls, floors, and roofs
- Perform finishing carpentry work such as trim, doors, cabinetry, and moldings
- Complete renovations, repairs, and general maintenance of existing structures
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed according to building codes, safety standards, and company expectations
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, crew members, and other trades
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site
- Identify construction issues and propose practical solutions
- Follow all site safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and general site preparation as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Carpenter (residential and/or commercial)
- Journeyman Carpenter certification considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS) are an asset
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation (site-dependent)
