Medical Office Assistant
Canadian Pain & Regenerative Institute is a multi-disciplinary orthopedics, regenerative medicine, spine, and chronic pain clinic in the heart of Vancouver, BC. The clinic offers interventional pain procedures, physical therapy, psychology, and medication management for patients in pain.
All physician consults and most interventional pain procedures are covered under the medical services plan. We also have a team of allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and counsellors.
We are looking to hire an energetic and vibrant Medical Office Assistant who can work with our enthusiastic team to provide optimal care for patients. The role has potential to grow into a private pay services coordinator position with incentives for the right person.
Title: Medical Office Assistant (MOA) (experience preferred)

Salary: The expected starting salary is $20+ depending on level of experience

- Knowledge of BC healthcare system & MSP (asset)
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Knowing additional languages is an asset
Experience:
· Prior medical office assistant experience (minimum 1 year) or MOA certificate preferred
· Prior medical sales experience is an asset
· Experience using an EMR system. Experience with Input Health is an asset
· Experience using JaneApp is an asset.
Responsibilities:
· Calling and scheduling/coordinating appointments for patients in a timely manner
· Registering patients on arrival
· Assisting in general medical administrative duties (answering phones, organizing patient referral, general cleaning & tidying of clinic)
· Reviewing and submitting MSP billing (Knowledge of MSP billing is beneficial but not essential; candidate must be willing to learn)
· Ensuring exam rooms are kept stocked and ordering supplies as necessary
· Being the liaison between patients, doctors, and staff

Our clinic is open Monday - Friday, some weekend work may be required. There is opportunity for some remote work
