We are looking for an Apprentice Technician who is reliable, ethical, personable, takes pride in their work, and has a genuine interest in learning and developing new automotive skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine automotive maintenance, including:
Oil changes, tire rotations, battery installations
Headlight and taillight installations
Transmission work and flushes
Air conditioner recharges
Front-end alignments
Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify automotive issues and provide accurate recommendations
Perform necessary repairs and test vehicles prior to returning them to customers
Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with provincial safety and emissions standards
Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices
Complete and maintain accurate paperwork and customer records
Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Perform any additional duties assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid G2 or G Ontario Driver’s License in good standing
Basic knowledge of automotive repair tools and ability to operate them safely
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and procedures
Strong willingness to learn through in-house training programs
Understanding of workplace safety protocols
Self-motivated, reliable, and responsible
Basic personal tools required (a list will be provided upon employment)
