Job Summary
Murray Hyundai is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Warranty Administrator / Dispatcher to join our automotive service team. This role involves managing warranty claims, coordinating repair appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have dealership or mechanic experience, strong administrative skills, and excellent organizational skills to ensure smooth operations and satisfied customers.
Responsibilities
- Process and submit warranty claims accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to schedule repairs and service appointments
- Communicate with customers regarding repair status, warranty coverage, and additional sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Upsell additional services or repairs when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Maintain detailed records of all warranty work, repairs, and customer interactions
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and dealership procedures
- Assist in managing parts inventory related to warranty repairs
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repairs is essential
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize urgent items
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial transactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
