We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and self-motivated Ontario Licensed Hair Stylist to join our luxury beauty destination on a chair rental basis.
This opportunity is ideal for an independent stylist who wants the freedom of running their own business while working in a beautifully designed salon alongside a collaborative team specializing in luxury hair, bridal beauty, and advanced skincare.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional hair services including:
- Women’s cuts
- Colour services (balayage, highlights, lived-in colour, blonding)
- Toners and glosses
- Hair treatments
- Blowouts and styling
- Special occasion and bridal hairstyling
- Deliver outstanding consultations and client experiences.
- Build and maintain your own clientele.
- Manage your own bookings, payments, and client communication.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation in accordance with Ontario health and safety standards.
- Maintain professional liability insurance.
- Promote your services through social media and marketing.
- Work collaboratively with the salon team while maintaining your independent business.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Hairstylist Licence (Certificate of Qualification preferred where applicable)
- Minimum 3 years of salon experience preferred
- Existing clientele is an asset but not required
- Strong colouring and cutting skills
- Experience with bridal hairstyling is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Comfortable creating social media content to promote your work
