Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Experienced Sofa Maker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Assemble sofa frames using woodworking tools, power tools, and hand tools to ensure structural integrity and quality.
- Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines for precise cutting and shaping of wood components.
- Use forklift and warehouse experience to transport materials safely within the production area.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and finished products while adhering to safety protocols.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery used in the manufacturing process.
- Measure components accurately with calipers and other measuring tools to guarantee precise assembly.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and quality standards to produce consistent, high-quality sofas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking, specifically with sofa or similar upholstered furniture.
- Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, machining equipment, and calipers for detailed craftsmanship.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CNC machines, woodworking techniques, and construction processes is highly desirable.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation and heavy lifting capabilities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing standards, safety procedures, and quality control measures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
