Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through tailored interactions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members regarding progress and needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive strategies for children with disabilities or special needs
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Lead classroom routines, manage time efficiently, and ensure adherence to schedules
- Demonstrate leadership in guiding children through daily activities and transitions
- Write detailed observations and reports on children's development for parent updates and program planning
Requirements
- Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator with relevant licensing authorities
- Proven experience working with children in classroom settings or similar environments
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in computer operation for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong writing skills for reporting and record keeping
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, classroom management, and child development theories

Pay: $28.00-$29.00 per hour
