Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Hair Assistant to join our team. As a Hair Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our salon by providing essential support to our stylists and maintaining a high standard of customer service. Weekends and evenings are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Shampooing clients and providing scalp massages to enhance their salon experience.
- Mixing toners and assisting stylists as needed.
- Keeping track of client processing times to ensure timely completion of services.
- Sweeping, mopping and general cleaning of the department to maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Counting stock and unpacking purchase orders to ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Assisting with various other light duties as assigned by salon management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a salon environment
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing duties and priorities as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
