- Position: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
- Location: Various Settings – Private Homes, Retirement Communities, Long-Term Care Homes. Ottawa and surrounding areas.
- Status: Casual / Elect-to-Work – YOU choose when you work!
What You’ll Do:
As a valued member of our healthcare team, you’ll deliver exceptional nursing care and support to clients in their homes or residential care settings. Your expertise and compassion will help enhance their quality of life, while your adaptability will allow you to provide care in dynamic, client-centered environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor, document, and report patient conditions and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Provide health education to patients and families on prevention and management
- Support minor medical procedures including phlebotomy and lab testing
- Maintain accurate records using systems such as Epic, Meditech, and Cerner

What You Bring:
- A current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license in good standing (required)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months or obtained before first shift (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (preferred)
- Negative 2-step TB test result/clear chest x-ray (preferred)
- Up to date Flu and Covid vaccines (preferred)
- Ability to reliably commute to workplace
- A genuine passion for client-focused care
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Experience in Geriatrics, Dementia, home care, retirement or long-term care settings a bonus!
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Orleans, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- LPN/RPN License (required)
