We are looking for a Driving Instructor to join our team and help teach our students the necessary skills to become safe and responsible drivers in Fredericton and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide clear instruction in a patient and supportive manner. The Driving Instructor will be responsible for teaching students the basics of driving, including vehicle safety, defensive driving techniques, and the rules of the road. Health plan is available and will be fully covered by First Rate Driver. A criminal record check including a venerable sector report will be needed by the successful candidate. Job hours will vary depending on the time of the year (evenings and weekends when school is in session and more daytime hours during the summer months).
Responsibilities:
- Teach students the basics of driving, including the rules of the road, vehicle control, and safety.
- Instruct students on the operation of a motor vehicle, including steering, accelerating, braking, and parking.
- Provide feedback to students on their driving performance.
- Maintain student records and provide progress reports to parents or guardians.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during driving lessons.
- Demonstrate proper driving techniques in a variety of traffic conditions.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
