Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their breakfast experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing of transactions
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, service stations, and workstations according to health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy weekend mornings
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and serve guests promptly
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in breakfast or hospitality settings
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and order accuracy
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
- Reliable availability on weekends, especially mornings, to support busy breakfast hours
