Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing, masonry, and related construction activities. This role involves working on various projects including new builds, restorations, and renovations, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other trades and utilize a range of tools and techniques to deliver durable and aesthetically pleasing concrete surfaces.
Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level finishes.
- Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics for structural integrity.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for concrete placement and finishing tasks.
- Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project specifications accurately.
- Perform masonry work, including caulking, flooring installation, and restoration tasks as needed.
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and curing processes to meet project timelines.
- Conduct welding and carpentry tasks related to formwork or structural support systems.
- Use schematics for precise installation of rebar, formwork, or other structural components.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling hand tools, power tools, and construction materials.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools.
- Expertise in concrete finishing techniques for floors, walls, and other surfaces.
- Experience with rebar installation, masonry, carpentry, welding, and flooring installation.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of concrete forming processes and restoration methods.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for finishing work.
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
