Responsibilities
- Support the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment, including pumps, filters, and chemical dosing systems
- Assist with the setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment used in water treatment processes
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to transport materials, supplies, and equipment safely around the worksite
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Help monitor system performance, report irregularities, and assist in routine inspections under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment to promote efficiency and safety
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge or background is preferred to understand equipment operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in water treatment or related technical fields is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
