Position Summary
Blue Heron Support Services Association is seeking a compassionate and motivated Community Disability Services Worker for the Support to Community Living Program. This position provides individualized support to adults working toward greater independence and community inclusion.
The successful candidate will assist individuals in achieving their personal goals through encouragement, skill development, and community-based support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals in working toward personal and independence-based goals
- Encourage participation in community activities and daily living skills
- Assist with building confidence, social connections, and self-determination
- Provide positive, respectful, and person-centered support
- Maintain communication and documentation as required
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or community support services is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Clear Criminal Record Check and vulnerable sector required
- Valid Standard First Aid

Pay: $26.60 per hour
