Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labour / Landscape Helper to support our landscaping and construction projects. This role involves assisting with various outdoor tasks, maintaining landscape features, and supporting the team in completing projects efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in horticulture and construction activities.
Duties
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as planting, trimming, and maintaining gardens and lawns
- Support landscape maintenance activities, including mulching, edging, and debris removal
- Help with construction-related tasks such as digging trenches, lifting materials, and site cleanup
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to learn new skills related to excavation, irrigation systems, and construction processes
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks for extended periods
