Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items following company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service and/or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems OR quick learner with new systems is an asset
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work part-time hours including Saturdays or evenings if needed (sometimes may be offered extra hours when needed)
