Saint Germain Bakery is a busy Asian-style bakery with a new location at Square One Shopping Centre. Originating in Vancouver, our pastry chefs incorporate many different styles of buns, breads, cakes and other treats into our daily menu. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be assisting with the Back of House operations, including prepping ingredients for the chef, packing freshly baked buns, and other general kitchen duties . Preference will be given to those with previous experience and who can speak both Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and English. Must have valid SIN number. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

- Assisting the bakers and cake decorators as needed
- Handling food products, both raw and cooked
- Help finish and package certain “hand-decorated” buns
- Package freshly baked products
- Helping to ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Assisting other departments when needed
- Communicating with coworkers and management about products and product handling (including coworkers within your own department as well as other departments)
