We are searching for an energetic, enthusiastic individual to assume a full-time Vice-Principal position that includes a teaching component at Al Amal Online Academy. Ideally, you possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to provide a balanced advocacy for teachers, students and parents. The ability to motivate and inspire staff and students to high levels of achievement along with establishing and maintaining a respectful, orderly and purposeful online school environment is essential. Preference will be given to an individual with the expertise to support the overall development of students in an online environment.
Al Amal Online Academy offers a dynamic and flexible virtual learning environment that follows the Alberta Curriculum, with a special focus on Islamic instruction and programming. The programming is designed to support diverse student needs through engaging and accessible online instruction while fostering both academic success and faith-based learning.
This full-time assignment includes administrative and teaching responsibilities at the Online Academy. Teaching duties will be assigned based on the successful candidate's qualifications. The position will commence August 26th, 2026. Preference will be given to candidates who hold, are actively pursuing, or express interest in pursuing a Master's degree.
