We are seeking a motivated and friendly Junior Hair Assistant to join our dynamic salon team. Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Assist stylists with hair washing, blow drying, applying toner, applying color and basic styling tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon areas in compliance with health standards
- Support upselling of retail products to clients to enhance their salon experience
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is properly maintained for daily operations
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client retention and satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to salon environments
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff
- Enthusiasm for learning about hair styling techniques and industry trends
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed; a positive attitude towards providing outstanding client service
