Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in providing excellent food service. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cooking, and food handling tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations and uphold high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Help with food storage, inventory management, and restocking supplies
- Follow all safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations
- Support the team during busy hours to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking and food safety standards
- Ability to handle food properly and maintain high hygiene standards
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of serving and meal presentation
- Willingness to learn new skills within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Safe food handler certification
