Good Fellas Stoves and Chimneys is seeking a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer to join our growing team. We specialize in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of wood-burning appliances, prefab chimney systems, and masonry chimney repairs. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and values safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of wood stoves, fireplaces, and prefab chimney systems
- Support and complete chimney inspections, cleanings, and maintenance services
- Perform masonry repairs on brick chimney systems (training provided if needed)
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Safely operate tools and equipment in accordance with company standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow directions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, masonry, or a related trade is an asset (but not required)
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing manual labour throughout the day
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
- Commitment to following safety procedures at all times
