Qualifications
Experience:
You have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, or café environment. Experience working on a line or preparing breakfast/brunch items is a strong advantage.

Kitchen Awareness:
You understand the importance of speed, accuracy, and consistency when preparing dishes during busy service periods.

You are able to stay calm and focused during high-volume rushes and maintain quality under pressure.

You work well with others and understand that a strong kitchen depends on clear communication and team support.
Organization:
You are organized, efficient, and able to keep your station clean and properly stocked throughout service.
Food Safety Knowledge:
Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and proper food handling practices. Food Handler Certification is a must.
Availability:
Open availability for full-time or part-time hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Food Preparation:
Prepare menu items according to Bready recipes and standards while maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency.
Station Management:
Set up and maintain your station during service, ensuring all ingredients and tools are organized and ready.
Quality Control:
Ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets Bready’s standards for quality, portioning, and presentation.
Team Communication:
Work closely with the kitchen team and Front of House staff to ensure smooth service and timely order execution.
Kitchen Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout your shift, including your station, prep areas, and shared kitchen spaces.
Prep Work:
Assist with daily preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for service.
Food Safety & Standards:
Follow all kitchen safety procedures, food handling guidelines, and sanitation standards.
Opening & Closing Duties:
Assist with kitchen setup, restocking, cleaning, and closing procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
