Overview
Vista Blinds is seeking a hardworking and reliable Window Blind Manufacturing Associate to join our production team. This hands-on role involves manufacturing custom window blinds, operating machinery, cutting fabrics and aluminum components, assembling products, and assisting with warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Measure and cut window blind fabrics according to production specifications.
- Cut aluminum components and headrails using manufacturing equipment.
- Assemble custom window blinds and related products.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the production facility.
- Lift and handle heavy fabric rolls, aluminum stock, and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily manufacturing targets.
- Assist with packaging and preparing orders for shipment.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials regularly.
- Comfortable working with machinery, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or production experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
