Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dessert and Shakes Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious desserts and shakes, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong attention to detail, and experience in food service or the food industry. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of desserts and shakes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing customer inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order completion during busy periods
- Assist with food handling duties, including ingredient preparation and storage
- Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and dining area
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or the food industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on friendliness and professionalism
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales
Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
