Job Overview
Looking for a dependable and hardworking Drywall Labourer to join our drywall team. This role involves assisting with the installation, taping, and finishing of drywall in residential and commercial projects.
Duties
- Assist with the measurement, cutting, and hanging of drywall panels according to project specifications
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer or sealant as needed
- Perform taping, mudding, and sanding to achieve smooth wall surfaces
- Apply caulking around joints and fixtures for a finished look
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Support carpentry tasks related to drywall framing and finishing
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Skills
- Previous construction or drywall experience is an asset, but not required
- Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs.) repeatedly
- Comfortable working on ladders at heights
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
