Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service during member dining, tournaments, and events.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and execution of seasonal and event-specific offerings.
- Maintain hands-on involvement during peak service periods to ensure quality control and timely delivery.
- Plan daily production schedules, including mise en place and staff assignments based on service requirements.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and proper stock management.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
- Coordinate kitchen operations during high-volume service and events to maintain quality and efficiency.
Prerequisites:
Education: Bachelor’s in Hotel Management or equivalent.
Experience: 5+ years or more in the food industry equivalent experience.
Hourly Wage: $36 to $38 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
