We are committed to quality workmanship, safety, and providing excellent service to our customers. We are currently looking for hardworking and reliable Labourers to join our team and assist with roofing projects and general job site support.
Position Summary
The Roofing Labourer supports roofing crews by preparing job sites, handling materials, assisting with installations and repairs, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a physically demanding position that offers opportunities to learn skilled roofing trade work and grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist roofers and foremen with roofing installations and repairs
- Load, unload, and transport roofing materials and equipment
- Remove old roofing materials and clean work areas
- Set up ladders, safety equipment, and job site protection
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout the day
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Follow all company safety procedures and fall protection requirements
- Assist with site cleanup and debris removal
- Support crews with general labour tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous construction or roofing experience is an asset but not required
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor daily
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence and transportation preferred
- Must be a member of Local 269 Union or willing to join
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
