The Rath Eastlink Community Centre is offering a senior leader and visionary the opportunity to lead us into our next chapter. This is a unique chance to be a part of shaping community and culture in our region. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, operational management, and financial management of the RECC. The General Manager ensures the facility delivers exceptional recreation, sport, wellness, and community services while ensuring financial sustainability, operational excellence, and people management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Recreation Management, or Public Administration. They will have extensive and progressive previous senior leadership experience in recreation, sport, hospitality, facility management, municipal services, or a comparable sector. They must have demonstrated experience managing complex operations, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience working with boards, government agencies, and community organizations is preferred.
Conditions of employment include legal eligibility to work in Canada, and clear Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry Checks.
