Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves hauling aggregates, making local deliveries, rental work and safely operating commercial vehicles in a professional and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have a valid DZ or AZ license, a clean driving record, and experience operating trucks in various road, job site, and weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for hauling aggregates and completing deliveries
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites, customers, and designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any mechanical issues, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and required documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Ensure loads are secured and transported safely
- Represent 29 Equipment in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Represent 29 Equipment professionally while working on behalf of other companies during rental work
Experience
- Valid DZ or AZ licence
- Clean driving record
- Previous truck driving experience preferred
- Experience hauling aggregates or operating around construction/job sites is an asset
- Ability to work safely in changing weather and site conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
